Jim,
According to the product info this is great for BBQ tanks. Is it also suitable for the propane tank used for heat and cooking on a Class A? It was not clear from the info link on RV Travel.
Mike
These gauges are OK for use on a barbecue, but have only limited function. They do show when the tank is empty, but show nearly full until it is nearly empty. So, you don't have much warning.
Your tank on your RV should have a float type of gauge. These are generally reliable and will show the actual level in the tank.
These gauges are OK for use on your barbecue. I have one. They have limited function, however. They read nearly full until they are nearly empty, then suddenly show empty when all the gas is gone.
Your Class A or Class C RV tank should have a float type gauge which will read the actual level in the tank.
