In my travels I see RVers with tomato plants, house plants and a variety of other fruits and vegetables. They are usually stationary for a while, like campground hosts or work-campers, and they manage to keep a garden. Here is a portable solution for a care-free high-tech growing system that controls soil conditions and doubles the yield of your crop with less fertilizer, less water and little effort. There is no digging, weeding or guesswork. It set’s up in minutes and can go anywhere. Here is a link with more information Earth Box . It costs around $65.00 or you can make one yourself for around $10.00 Do It Yourself Either way you will get more bang for your buck with this type of gardening system.

The Earth box works great and you'll never get those kind of results from a 5 gallon paint bucket. We found a similar grow box at www.agardenpatch.com that is a lot more affordable and a lot easier to use and store. Either way, it's great having a mobile tomato factory.
Each time I try to access the do it yourself article it is disabled so I can't access it.
Could you email it to me at bargainlady7@wmconnect.com
I would love to have it.
Thank,

I agree! Earthboxes are great for RVs. I keep one filled with salad greens and when its time to hit the road, I just move it into a sub-floor cabinet. Earthboxes are durable and last for years. The units from agardenpatch are not as tough and only lasted one season before cracking.
